for all your birthday wishes. I did indeed have a fine birthday with family and friends. ava made me a Lego menagerie (a bird in a tree, a lion, a giraffe, and of course an elephant). 58 going on 18. not bad.
I came across your blog through the nin hotline. Just wanted to extend my thanks to your work with NIN in the past, present and future. I look forward to hearing your new solo record, and wish you a happy birthday, and happy holiday season.
By the way, if you're into New World Order conspiracies, feel free to come over and visit my blog. Best Wishes!
Today, of all days, Side Four arrived in my mail box. I know I had something to do with this as I'm the one who ordered it when I did. :P However, it was an extreme pleasure to listen to it (twice) on the way to my mom's today. Pulled out of driveway, checked mailbox, saw ABPT goodness and enjoyed!
Love your music. Love the AB community. Please don't hate on my beautifully semantic and valid code that's based on the look of your site. If this plea is meaningless, then I deleted the post in time.
Side Four made me and my wife very happy. Her-I was able to give her a Christmas gift idea for once. Me, the excellent disc representing live music by The Adrian Belew Power Trio. It's easy to tell that you guys are really grooving on each other when on stage. Yes, it is hard to believe Julie and Eric are teenagers. Where was all that know-how (ability-wise and compositional) when I was that age? Both Eric and Julie do a superb job of handling music that was handed to them and making it their own and having it all fit in very nicely.
Some great moments happening here. Maybe you should thwak your head every time as you go on stage? lol
Bob - in St.Louis weighing the feasibility of traveling to Chicago to see you.
Happy Belated Birthday Ade!
ReplyDeleteHappy Holy Days too!
From Mark & Crystal in gray but cozy Portland.
I'll second that, Adrian. My very best wishes.
