In my brief lifetime, I've had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Warr and have played several times with Mr. Chapman and have since become a casual friend of Emmett's and must say that they are both extremely nice guys who both make extremely fine instruments.
Great cartoon that really captured the spirit of that feud in just a few lines! So who's the artist?
I had a feeling there was something missing.... OK - a couple of things need some insider clarification....if possible :) Does the 'cream cheese with that?' refer to the 'bagel boy' remark which I believe is directed to Tony????? And the 'Krusty the clown' image; and the 'ice' notice?????
Oh, and will we be able to get a sneak preview of your latest (side 4)painting? I am so glad that you were finally able to access your inner 'abstract expressionist' side and finish this painting.
I have often wondered what "The Harrowing Tales of Norbert Fragg and Bartley Butsford" would look like. Any aspiring artists out there want to have a go at it? .. and the full line of action figures.
Which brings us to the very important question: what is your comic book hero name? Adrian Bellow was pretty good, but what pseudonym do you use when you are prowling the streets of Nashville, fighting the forces of mediocrity and randomness?
awesome poster, and congrats on finish the painting. Doesn't it feel amazing to finish pieces of work you've left lying around?
(Oh, and if you want to check out some new music, check out the band Battles. They're like what'd you get if 80s Krimson suddenly wanted to play metal, and then wrote a lot of zappa-ish melodies)
On a similar note, here is a Fripp cartoon I drew (which is now framed and hanging at the bottom of his stairwell at home) Hopefully the link for it works here!
Too cool!

I don't get the "Bagel Boy" thing, but I love the coffee pot by Tony's station and Bill's martini.
ReplyDeleteThanks Adrian!
