hey kids, I'm back

from my wonderful month in amsterdam.
everything went better than I ever expected.
I will write a full account soon.

meanwhile, I am so saddened by the events in japan,
another of my favorite places to play.
I have met so many great people there over the years.
I played in Sendai with krimson.
unbelievable what has happened there.
my heart goes out to the people of japan.

  1. it is such a horrible situation , then add to that the fear of some sort of nuclear indecent . i cant even imagine what those folks are going through . it just goes to show , no matter how bad you may think you have it . . .

that really was something special , what went down in holland . it seems a little bittersweet to me , appreciating your work on the level that i do , that it isn't recognized unilaterally on the level that it deserves to be . especially if i start comparing things , which becomes terrifying and i loose more respect for society which is just all around counterproductive negative thinking , but . you deserve a LOT more than you receive , and i am specifically referring to your more personal solo work . i guess it takes a certain type of person to be a hardcore adrian belew fan , to me its a shame there aren't more of those types of folks floating around .
    Pt2 .

  2. Greetings Adrian, When is on DVD with the orchestra in Holland?, what we saw on youtube is great, we want to hear and produced and edited ... hairs should sound.
In Chile the same as that in Japan is a country with earthquakes and tsunamis, our government this week signed an agreement with the U.S. to consider installing a nuclear power plant in southern Chile ... occurred after the Japanese do not think that is the way for my country ... Japanese forces. Adrian up the mood.

    ALejandro, Chile

  3. That's incredible what happened in Japan! We all should look how we can help the people there. I've never been in Japan, but if I see those couraged people suffering so hard I can feel the pain and can't hold my tears...

    Hey Adrian,
when we can see you again in Germany? The best would be with KC, but I'd go to every concert you join!
    Love your music!

  4. Happy St. Patrick's and welcome back, Ade!

I share your concern about Japan. Fortunately they are a wealthy country and can re-establish themselves...and we can do our parts, too. I hope you friends there are well.

As far as your music goes, I am totally psyched to hear E w/ orchestra.

  5. as someone who recently moved to LA I am fully aware of the repercussions and the impact the devastation of japan has had not only there but in the rest of the world. whatever we do, we must not give in to despair. the red cross, salvation army and so many others are acting on our behalf.
I have donated to make sure the people are equipped to deal with a crisis get the funding they need to help the most unfortunate at this time.
the main thing we have to remember despite the barrage of negative news is this: people can, and do, make a difference.
adrian, your heart and mind is in the right place.
this above all, is the greatest measure of success one culd ever hope to achieve.

  6. Thank you,Belew! from Japan
