mind meld

kirk:
"spock! are you out of your vulcan mind!?"

so much has happened in the last 6 months
I wish I could do a mind meld with all of you.
too much to say and no way to convey it all.

first, since it is thanksgiving
let me say Happy Thanksgiving!
(unless you're a turkey, then it's not so happy)

2009 has been another great year.
after three years in the making we released e,
and the trio traversed a million miles to play
hot shows to eager-eared audiences worldwide
who rewarded us, not so much with mucho dinaros
but with praise and appreciation.

thanks to all of you.
it does not go without notice how fortunate I am,
an off the wall artist who still has a thriving career
in the brutal machinations of the music business.

I have high hopes for the new year.
see you there!

  4. I love this man. He is awesome in almost everything he's in. Can't say everything he's in is awesome *cough*Doom*cough* but he manages to be awesome even in crappy movies.

Oh, and Star Trek rocked. :)

  5. Adrian,

Saw you in Aspen last month - a small, yet adoring crowd - and we all appreciated the Power Trio visiting our little piece of nowhere. Thanks for rocking my face off.

  6. I just wanted to thank Adrian for so many wonderful years of music. He's brought a lot of pleasure and creative stimulation to my life. Even during difficult times (like recently when my Blue Cross insurance refused to pay any of my medical bills because I was taken by ambulance to an "out of network" emergency room - fortunately, I'm okay, but there have been many headaches fighting the insurance company, who left me with a bill of more than $20,000), listening to Adrian's music put a smile on my face and redirected my thoughts from negativity to creative excitement.

I've enjoyed Adrian's music since the late 1970s. Though I've always been a huge King Crimson fan, some of my favorite shows have been Adrian solo or with the Power Trio. He always plays with such joy and excitement. Also, for me, SIDE ONE & SIDE TWO are truly great recordings: challenging, expressive, thought-provoking and entertaining. I've listened to them regularly since purchasing them when they first came out a few years back.

I'm looking forward to more challenging music in the future. As for now, I just wanted to say THANK YOU and keep up the great work! Best wishes.

    Todd
