groenburgwal 38


when I found out my apartment on the canal
at groenburgwal 38 was one of the most often photographed
and one of the most common postcards I had to have one.

if you look on the left hand side of the postcard
the white doorway underneath the streetlamp
was the entrance to the apartment.
I lived on the top two floors.

for the first two and a half weeks
I shared the apartment with daniel rowland.
on march 7 daniel had to return to the states.
for the last week I shared it with john sinks.

I'll always have fond memories of groenburgwal 38,
my home way from home.

    did you travel by boat much while you were there ? there is something "magical" about that for me . i just get this sense of peace / joy when i am "on the water" .

    hi adrian, that is a beautiful place. i wish someday i could go a do drawings of people around there, it's so nice..

    and what about you? how are things going? i hope you're doing right

    i admire you, you know, as a great guitar player, singer and etc. you know, usual stuff jajajaj

    pardon my bad english, im from argentina! around here there are a small group of people that know you. every time i say 'do you know adrian or crimson (or even beatles!)', there re people that say no! i dont believe it =)
